Through this, Mitch grows and changes as a person, learning to value family, love and relationships above the material things in his life.We also know that Morrie taught Mitch the key of life and happiness which gave him an understanding of life.
This book doesn't really have any connection with my life.
It influences me a lot however and most likely I will probably try to live a life that Morrie explains/teaches to his students.
Since this is a relatable book, the students would be more likely to be more involved in the criteria.
With this in place, the students can create projects to show what they got from the text.
With the threatening reality of Morrie’s illness looming overhead, Mitch learns from him and realizes that it is necessary to live life to the fullest.
It is apparent that even with his illness that there is no way Morrie could return to his former self. It seems unfortunate that one would only gain such understanding of life when facing death.
Unfortunate events are always going to happen and sometimes we have to adapt to them and get through it.
We are constantly faced with tough times whether it is a death of your loved ones or just having a rough day in school, we have to overcome these tough times and have the ability to become a stronger person.
In Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie, the author shows us that not everyone is going to live a long happy life and this is evident as Morrie is faced with a fatal disease also known as ALS.
He knows that he is going to die soon and wants to share his view of life with everyone before it’s too late.
